I\'m sorry that you feel offended with my supposed \\\"holier-than-thou\\\" tone, but I do not regret any of my writings. If you find \\\"sarcasm, using sharp and sometimes offensive words\\\" to be, well, offensive, in a debate-based setting, then perhaps you should not engage in nor commence such debates, for sarcasm and sharp wording are some of the most effective tools for making a point. Or would you prefer that all such debates be completely devoid of any sense of depth, sterile in all its complacency, with arguments made at a G-rated, completely child-safe 6th grade level? I\\\'m not saying we should all be intentionally offensive or purposely vulgar, quite the contrary, those aren\\\'t conducive to good debates. What I am saying is that if you\\\'re going to jump into a discussion on subjects with considerable depth, then be braced for sarcasm, wit, sharp language, and yes even being offended.
And what does age have to do with a discussion on science, especially after having both graduated and worked? I\\\'ll take your word that you\\\'re a physician, but you are equally guilty of labeling me as having a \\\"know-it-all\\\" attitude, when you tell me to \\\"behave.\\\" As to not disappoint you, a physician, I have a Biochemistry and Cell Biology B.s. from a prestigious institution, and have worked during and after my degree with Urocortin-II, a beta-agonist, in assessing myocardial infarct size, as well as analyzing ryanodine receptors, an intracellular calcium channel, between T-tubules and the sarcoplasmic reticulum, in the role of keeping cardiac tissue striated, so rest assured that I know what I am talking about when we\\\'re dealing with physiology and molecular biochemistry.
And again, I am sorry that you feel you were offended, and such is not intentional, but I have no qualms about what I write.
